Here are the DIY Planner templates that I’ve made. Photos of how you use them would be awesome if you’d like to share! I did them all by hand with stamps, a pencil and typewriter – scanned them in and here they are! I also have some examples on how I used them posted here on Flickr if you’re interested.
+ 8.5 x 11
8.5 x 11 is great for any kind of 3-hole binder or folder, try it on a clipboard! Everything is standard, so you can buy tons of cool junk at your local office supply store to create your very own planner. Print it out from any printer or copier. Perfect! If you’re looking for something a little less ‘messy’ check out all the DIY PLANNER TEMPLATES. Want a page in this style that you don’t see here? Let me know! View the set on flickr.
+ 4 x 6
I love this size, it’s only an inch in each direction but they seem tons bigger than the 3×5 cards. You’ll find them in most office supply stores right next to the 3×5 cards. There aren’t as many notebooks and accessories to fit the 4×6 but it’s more fun creating your own anyways! Rip the binder clip out of a cheap 3×5 notebook, screw it onto some bookboard and you’re on your way! View the set on flickr.

Hi!
I really loooooove your templates but have trouble printing them out. Do I need to print them using a colored printer? I’m currently using a black and white laser one. What is the best way of printing them out?
Also, It would be great if you can come up with a weekly template with times by the hour for appointments and space for notes, similar to the plannerpad design.

Oh these are perfect! I never thought I’d find someone who liked the same retro/collage aesthetic as me who also has a slight obsession with orginisation stationary like I do. These make my relationship with my current diary feel clumsy and unfufiling.
I tried downloading them, however I keep getting a ‘file corrupt’ message. I’ve tried on both Mac and PC with no luck. Any chance you could re-upload them? Or of putting them up as a zip of images perhaps?
Thanks so much, I really can’t tell you how excited I am to use these, I’ll be sure to photograph what I create and email it to you.

Hey! Love the templates – drawing some of my own – but am totally confused on how to bind the 4×6 index cards together cheaply. Help?

Having seen the link on Sophie’s blog, here I am – and very glad I came. Thank you so much for this, it’ll save me wandering around the stationery stores and also save me so much money! As Sophie said, at least £6, if not a great deal more…

Whhooo – we have another convert – welcome Moira to the world of makin’ your own! I still have a few adjustments to mine (for example, still using a treasury tag as a way of keeping pages together) but will hopefully soon cut down a slim plastic A5 binder to size x
