UPDATE: Paper.7

Hi there, made a few little changes in the theme – download the new version below!

Updates: cleaner code, better looking comments, new graphics and formatting on the date, tags and category, moved sidebar to footer for better SEO and a darker shade of gray in the background

Paper.1

Paper: a WordPress theme for artists and crafters

Download ‘Paper’ and view more themes at birdthemes.com!

It’s easy to install & you don’t have to touch the code if you don’t want to. Not sure how to add a theme? You can find detailed directions and tons more information here: Adding New Themes

The code is clean and organized and ready for someone to tinker around with as well. The image in the right sidebar is commented out in the code you’re downloading. The space is the perfect size for a logo/image, flickr or etsy badge. There’s commented out code & detailed directions for all three options in the file sidebar.php.

That’s it for now, if you have any questions please ask in the comments and I’ll do my best to answer. Enjoy!

Hi Amanda! I love your design and I used it in my blog again. :D !

Anyway I do have a question, I feel silly, I seem a little troubled with the sidebar.php—I did everything I could to make the image appear but I don’t know why my info and image won’t. Any insights on that?

    Thank you so much. :)

This theme not only make the crafter in me happy, it makes the writer smile, too. Thank you!

To get the text in the top of the right sidebar:
    1. Login to the admin section.
    2. Click Settings, General
    3. Add a tagline (second form item from top)
    4. Hit save and ta-da! It’s there!
